Blackburn's Physicians Pharmacy, Inc. is seeking a motivated Human Resources Recruiter/Generalist to join our HR team in Tarentum, PA.

The role centers on recruiting but also exposes you to onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance management. You will partner with managers to understand staffing needs, source candidates, conduct initial interviews, coordinate the hiring process, assist with offers and onboarding, and maintain HR records in our systems while upholding

Recruiting will be a significant part of the role, but this position will also provide hands‑on exposure to employee relations, onboarding, compliance, benefits, performance management, HR systems, and other areas of the employee lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Manage recruiting activities for assigned positions from job posting through candidate selection.
• Create and maintain engaging job advertisements that accurately represent the position and help Blackburn's attract qualified applicants.
• Review resumes and applications and identify candidates whose experience and skills align with position requirements.
• Conduct initial phone and virtual interviews.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Partner directly with managers to understand staffing needs, department expectations, and the characteristics necessary for success in each position.
• Source candidates through job boards, professional networking platforms, referrals, and other recruiting resources.
• Assist with employment offers, pre‑employment requirements, and the transition of selected candidates into onboarding.
• Support new-hire onboarding and employee documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee and applicant information within the company’s HR systems.
• Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions while recognizing when issues require additional review or escalation.
• Support employee relations, performance management, benefits, leave administration, training, and compliance activities.
• Assist with HR reporting, recordkeeping, audits, and regulatory documentation.
• Participate in HR projects and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Help ensure HR practices are applied professionally, consistently, and confidentially throughout the organization.

Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of Human Resources, recruiting, or related professional experience.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
• Familiarity with employee relations, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, performance management, or employment compliance.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Experience using an HRIS or applicant‑tracking system; Paycom experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or an interest in pursuing a professional HR certification is a plus.
