Human Resources - Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to lead the full-cycle recruitment process, maintain candidate engagement and the integrity of the selection process for all temporary and full-time positions within the agency. The successful candidate will conduct new hire orientation, post jobs, source, pre-screen, track qualified applicants, and coordinate interviews. The recruitment specialist will ensure the accuracy of candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System, support staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates, advise hiring managers, and monitor recruitment KPIs to assess effectiveness. Additionally, they will lead onboarding activities, support staff activities, proactively resolve issues, and document processes to ensure resolution.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all recruitment activities and promote social media programs to enhance external engagement with Crystal Stairs.
  • Build applicant sources through community outreach, college partnerships, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and internet sites; provide organization info, opportunities, and benefits; make presentations; participate in job fairs; maintain rapport.
  • Act as liaison with employment agencies, manage social media outlets (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), process related invoicing, coordinate with temporary agencies, and track the status of authorized positions.
  • Drive traffic to micro websites for key roles, track submissions and hires.
  • Provide expertise on onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS data management to the organization.
  • Manage all onboarding activities, including document collection and new hire orientation facilitation.
  • Provide weekly recruitment updates to the Recruitment Supervisor.
  • Support organization-wide HR initiatives and other duties as assigned.

Skills You Should Possess:

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and employment law regulations.
  • Understanding of federal and state labor laws affecting recruitment and testing.
  • Expertise in all areas impacting recruitment.
  • Ability to set and meet realistic, measurable goals and drive results.
  • Flexibility in approach and style for various situations.
  • Ability to adjust goals based on weekly data analysis.
  • Effective communication with tact and diplomacy when educating and coaching staff and management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Develop relationships with supervisors, managers, and coordinators.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Organizational Development, or related field preferred. Human Resources Certification or equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Three to five years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including online research, community management, and social media experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
  • Proficiency in internet research and information retrieval.
