Responsibilities
Position Summary

The HR Policy Program Manager oversees HR functions, focusing on policy creation, revision, and compliance, ensuring effective department operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop HR team members
  • Manage HR compliance projects and record retention
  • Design and manage HR policy development and review processes
  • Maintain HR documentation, including the Employee Handbook
  • Coordinate with Corporate Communications for policy dissemination
  • Ensure legal compliance with HR records and external requests
  • Verify employment through systems and develop templates
  • Participate in special HR projects and optimize company systems
  • Oversee Security and Safety Management System
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years HR Generalist experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work legally in the U.S.
Preferred
  • PHR certification
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
Additional Information

Supervisory Responsibility: Not a supervisory role.

Delegation: Responsibilities delegated to the Director of Labor and Employment in absence.

Authorities: None.

Work Environment: Professional office setting, using standard office equipment.

Physical Demands: Mostly sedentary; includes standing, walking, stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs, and reaching.
