Job summary

Eastland Food Corporation is seeking an outgoing Human Resources Officer (Technical Training and Safety Officer) to build a robust training culture and oversee safety programs. You will work with the Operations team to design training plans, assess needs, and deliver hands-on sessions across the warehouse.

The role also focuses on hazard assessment, policy implementation, and continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and risks.
• Proficiency in conducting training sessions and developing training materials.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in safety management and/or training is a plus.
• Bilingual is preferred (English, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese).
• BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field; further training will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain a strong training culture with Operations; develop and execute training plans and on-the-job programs.
• Identify training needs and skill gaps among Warehouse Associates; propose effective solutions.
• Create, update, and maintain training materials including manuals, presentations, and online modules.
• Facilitate training sessions with clear instruction, hands-on guidance, and ongoing support.
• Evaluate training effectiveness via assessments and feedback; implement improvements.
• Provide an overview of operations to new employees during onboarding.
• Identify, assess, and proactively control workplace hazards and risks in daily operations.
• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

Eastland Food Corporation is looking for an outgoing and driven individual to join our team as a Human Resources Officer (Technical Training and Safety Officer).

Technical Training

As part of this role, you will be responsible for building and sustaining a strong training culture within the organization. Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the Operations team to develop and execute training plans and on-the-job training programs.
• Identify training needs and skill gaps among Warehouse Associates and propose effective solutions to address them.
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online learning modules.
• Facilitate training sessions by providing clear instruction, hands‑on guidance, and ongoing support to employees at all levels.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, and implement continuous improvements as needed.
• Provide an overview of the operations process to all new employees during onboarding.

Safety Management

You will also play a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. Key responsibilities include:

• Identify, assess, and proactively control workplace hazards and risks to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Champion and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization by fostering awareness, accountability, and proactive risk management".
