Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking an Office Associate to provide clerical support to the Department of Human Resources. The role handles inquiries, schedules recruiting events, assists applicants, and performs data entry for paper applications into the online platform.
Responsibilities include guiding applicants through background checks, maintaining records, and performing general administrative tasks in a busy HR office.
The Human Resources Office Associate provides clerical support to the Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS) Department of Human Resources (HR), and assists with various recruitment and applicant processes. This position performs moderately complex work under immediate supervision and requires coordination with others as necessary. Frequent contacts are made both within and outside the organization.
This position has no budgetary responsibilities.
Prepares a variety of reports related to assigned duties, as requested
Operates computer, copier, fax machine, scanner, telephone, and other general office equipment
This position has regular contact with all levels of the organization as well as the general public in order to provide information.
This position does not supervise or provide work direction to others.
Independent decision-making is used when concerns or questions arise that can be solved using the department’s established procedures. The supervisor’s approval is recommended with unusual or complex concerns and inquiries.
This position does not have any formal policy-setting responsibilities.
