Responsibilities

The Human Resources Manager acts as a consultant for leaders on building a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging, while serving as a resource for employees on all issues related to human resources. This includes monitoring leaders’ coaching competencies, providing guidance to foster a high-performance culture, serving as a resource in conflict resolution and employee relations, coordinating or conducting leadership training on applicable employment laws and policies, and driving systemic change in processes, organizational structure, FTE management, and job evaluations.

Key Accountabilities

• Promote management practices that foster equity, inclusion, belonging, engagement, and team effectiveness, supporting a high-performance culture. Monitor and guide leaders’ coaching competencies to create a positive coaching environment.
• Partner with patient experience teams to co-facilitate onboarding phases, lead HR competency preparation for surveys and investigations, and communicate the value of HR initiatives to minimize disruption.
• Conduct employee rounding to strengthen leadership-staff relationships and communication, serve as a resource in conflict resolution and employee relations, perform fact-finding investigations, and apply the Just Culture philosophy in resolving issues.
• Utilize external healthcare trends and data analytics to diagnose issues and implement systemic changes aligned with strategic goals, including process improvements, organizational structure, FTE management, and job evaluations.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least three years of experience in Human Resources, including one year as an HR Generalist.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Desired:

• One year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Master's Degree.
• Professional or Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.
