YOUR ROLE

Oversee all aspects of Human Resources Management for the assigned business unit(s) including policies and procedures, recruitment, hiring, compensation, benefits administration, labor law compliance, and employee relations. Serve as contact for employees and answers questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Serve as an important resource to business unit(s) in the interpretation of human resources policies and procedures, legal compliance, employment laws, etc. Partner with HR Regional partners to ensure all policies, procedures, and processes are current and administered according to CEVA direction.
  • Develop and administer an effective recruitment program that promotes CEVA as the leading provider of services in the industry, interview personnel for available positions and provide guidance to management in the interviewing process. Provide direction regarding recruitment processes and ensure accuracy of information and process.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of all hiring procedures to corporate policies and procedures; ensure all required documentation is accurately completed and forwarded to the proper destination.
  • Assist Benefits department in gathering information and required forms in the administration of FMLA requests; documentation, tracking, and adherence to US law and CEVA procedures.
  • Provide various reports concerning tracking of employee turnover, PTO, and other performance measurements; partner with business unit management as well as HR Regional leaders to assess results and, where necessary, help to develop programs for improvement.
  • Work with Corporate HRIS to provide accurate reporting of HR information to business unit leaders and other managers; continuously audit information for accuracy and report any discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain all federal and state required logs in accordance with stated requirements. Keep up to date and report any HR related changes to law and/or reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of any training/procedure changes regarding compensation/benefits strategies as they relate to their assigned business units. Work closely with America's head office HR Leaders as well as compensation to ensure consistency and equity among all employee groups.
  • Assist in the resolution of any employee-related issues; keeps business partners and Region HR leadership informed. Escalate issues to region HR leadership when necessary.
  • Help to coordinate CEVA's performance management evaluation process; advise managers of any communications from Corporate regarding timelines and ensure that all reviews are done in a timely manner.
  • Welcome new employees into the CEVA world; answer any questions regarding CEVA policies; collect any required paperwork and facilitate enrollment into benefits for new hires and during open enrollment.
  • Complete other projects as assigned by the Senior HR Manager.
  • Interact with assigned Business Unit leaders on a daily basis to discuss employee issues and ongoing projects.
  • Partner with Regional HR leaders to review any employee relations issues, policy communications, reporting, or any other issues that may arise to support business partners.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. (Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping)
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5+ years progressive leadership in Human Resources.
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations.
  • Experience in the administration of HR programs and policies.

Preferred:

  • PHR certification.
  • Experience with Labor Unions.
