Job summary

BioTouch is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to serve as the on-site HR leader for its Columbus, GA manufacturing and fulfillment operation. You will drive employee relations, onboarding structure, and manage a high-volume hourly and agency workforce.

You will partner with site leadership and corporate HR to ensure compliant, performance-focused HR practices across locations, overseeing site-level HR processes and culture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee relations across the site.
• Conduct investigations and support performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Coach supervisors and managers on employee-related matters and leadership effectiveness.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
• Partner with HR leadership to promote consistency in practices across locations.
• Build structured onboarding programs for full-time and temporary staff.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing levels, shift alignment, and ramp needs.
• Monitor agency performance and optimize temporary workforce deployment.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate employee documentation.
• Partner with site leadership to develop front-line leaders and improve retention.

Our Role:

Our company is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to serve as the on-site HR leader for its Columbus, GA manufacturing and fulfillment operation, while also supporting HR initiatives and consistency across multiple locations. This role is responsible for executing HR support across the site, with a focus on employee relations, onboarding structure, and management of a high-volume hourly and agency workforce.

This individual will partner closely with site leadership and corporate HR to drive a consistent, compliant, and performance-focused work environment. In addition, this role will help ensure alignment of HR practices, processes, and standards across sites in partnership with HR leadership. This role will oversee HR processes at the site level.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Leadership Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters across the site
• Conduct investigations and support performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
• Coach supervisors and managers on employee-related matters and leadership effectiveness
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures
• Partner with HR leadership to promote consistency in employee relations practices across multiple locations

Onboarding & Workforce Planning

• Build and implement structured onboarding programs for full-time and temporary employees
• Establish and manage onboarding cadence (e.g., weekly orientations) to support high-volume hiring
• Partner with operations on workforce planning, including staffing levels, shift alignment, and ramp needs
• Drive consistency in onboarding and training across departments
• Support standardization of onboarding practices across sites in partnership with HR leadership

Agency Workforce Management

• Serve as the primary liaison with staffing agencies supporting the site
• Monitor agency performance including attendance, turnover, and productivity
• Partner with operations to identify and convert high-performing temporary employees
• Ensure agency workforce aligns with operational expectations and production demands
• Provide input and best practices to support agency workforce strategies across locations

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
• Support audits and maintain accurate employee documentation
• Partner with HRIS and HR leadership to ensure consistency in HR processes and compliance standards across sites

Site Leadership & Culture

• Act as a trusted HR partner to site leadership team
• Support development of front-line leaders through coaching and day-to-day partnership
• Identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and workforce stability
• Help establish structure, accountability, and consistency across the workforce
• Contribute to broader HR initiatives impacting multiple sites, including leadership development and workforce programs

Skills & Qualifications

What You Bring:

• 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume environments
