Job summary

BioTouch in Columbus, GA, and Midland GA, seeks an HR Generalist to support the full lifecycle of employees, employee relations, performance management, training and development. You will partner with the site HRBP to foster a safe, productive, and positive work environment aligned with the company’s mission.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in business or HR, 3–5 years HR experience (manufacturing or distribution preferred), and knowledge of HRIS/ADP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field.
• 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution or warehouse.
• HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred; payroll experience a plus.
• Experience with HRIS systems; ADP is a plus.
• Experience in retaining and maintaining an hourly workforce culture.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of employees, including relations, performance and development.
• Partner with site HRBP to align HR programs with business strategy.
• Maintain HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, and benefits records.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in training and development programs under L&D guidance.
• Investigate disputes and recommend fair corrective actions.
• Support recruitment for key site positions and related projects.

Responsibilities

Our Role:

We are seeking an HR Generalist to assist in all related functions for our largest kitting and logistics facilities in Columbus, GA and Midland GA. Partnering directly with the site HRBP, this position will support the full lifecycle of employees, employee relations, performance management, training and development. Must have a strategic mindset, working to keep aligned to the overall business strategy to foster a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

Your Impact

• Employee Relations: Bridge management and employee relations. Be accessible, approachable, actively promote employee engagement and activities, address questions, concerns, demands, complaints, etc.
• Employee Retention: Support and implement employee retention strategies to maintain a motivated workforce, positive culture, and workplace experience.
• Partnership: Contribute and communicate with Supervisors, Peers, and Subordinates providing information, guidance, and direction. Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Record-keeping: Maintain HRIS, processes, and employee life cycle record-keeping including oversight and support of local payroll, time, attendance, and company sponsored benefits.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
• Training and Development: Under the direction of the L&D team, support development of training programs, and monitor their effectiveness. Conduct training on HR topics as the subject matter expert as needed or required.
• Conflict Resolution: Investigate causes of employee disputes and complaints. Recommend fair, consistent, appropriate corrective action. Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Recruitment: Partner with the Corporate Recruiter and local stakeholders on key site positions (as needed.)
• Additional projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field.
• Relevant work experience and/or a Human Resources certification, may be considered without a degree.
• 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in Manufacturing, Distribution or Warehouse environments.
• HRCI or SHRM Certification is preferred. Previous Payroll experience a plus.
• Prior experience working with an HRM/HRIS system; ADP is a plus.
• Experience in retaining and maintaining an hourly workforce culture.
