Position: HR Manager

Overview:

Heritage Recruiters is proud to partner with a rapidly growing IT company in search of an HR Manager to lead all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition to employee engagement and compliance. This is a pivotal role for an HR professional who can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations, fostering a positive workplace culture in a tech-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the IT/tech sector, a strong grasp of HR best practices, and the ability to scale processes in a high-growth organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support a remote/hybrid workforce.
  • Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.) and update policies as needed.
  • Administer benefits, compensation, and payroll coordination in partnership with finance.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts across hiring and retention practices.
  • Lead onboarding/offboarding processes and enhance employee engagement strategies.
  • Partner with leadership to address organizational needs and workforce planning.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in IT, tech startups, or SaaS environments.
  • Expertise in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, ADP) and ATS tools.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to recruit and retain top tech talent (engineers, developers, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in HR analytics and reporting.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, scaling environments.
  • Base Salary: $110K+ (commensurate with experience)
  • Annual performance bonuses.
