Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a full-time Human Resources Manager in Russellville, KY.Salary: $90,000 - $115,000; Depending on Experience.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all HR functions at a non-union manufacturing facility. This role serves as a partner to plant leadership while also providing hands‑on support across employee relations, staffing, compliance, performance management, and training and development. The HR Manager ensures a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with all employment laws and supporting operational goals.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, discipline, and performance management
• Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture aligned with company values
• Coach supervisors and managers on effective people management, documentation, and communication

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Manage full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles
• Partner with plant leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop staffing strategies
• Build relationships with local schools, trade programs, and community organizations to support talent pipelines
• Oversee onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires are successfully integrated

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support

• Communicate benefits programs in accordance with company policies
• Partner with corporate HR and payroll to ensure accurate employee data, timekeeping, and pay practices

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Lead or support audits, reporting, and compliance trainings
• Monitor policies and practices to maintain non‑union status through strong employee relations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on organizational change, workforce challenges, and culture initiatives
• Support company‑wide HR initiatives and implement them effectively at the plant level

Requirements of the Human Resources Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Proven experience handling employee relations and performance management
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing setting

• HR certification (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SC P, PHR, SPHR)
• Experience supporting multi‑shift operations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information
