Spectrum Woodworking is seeking an experienced, hands‑on HR Manager to support our growing group of companies. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, this position will own the day‑to‑day HR function, including recruiting, payroll administration, employee relations, benefits, safety administration, workers' compensation, and employment compliance.
Our team includes office professionals, project management, engineering, production/shop employees, and field personnel. Experience in construction, manufacturing, specialty contracting, or a similar environment is strongly preferred.
We’re looking for a practical, business‑minded HR leader who believes in fair and consistent treatment, merit‑based hiring and advancement, personal accountability, and creating meaningful opportunities for employees to succeed.
We want someone who understands that HR should support our people while also supporting the operational needs, performance, and long‑term success of the business.
This is a hands‑on HR role, not a traditional corporate HR position. We're looking for someone who is organized, approachable, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership.
On any given day, you may be recruiting for an important position, helping a manager navigate an employee issue, reviewing payroll, coordinating a workers' compensation claim, or making sure our safety and compliance documentation is in order.
Spectrum has grown significantly over the past several years, and this position will play an important role in building the people and systems needed for our next stage of growth.
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 DOE
