Job Description

This position will be located in Norfolk, Virginia

Assist the Human Resources Director in all aspects of HR management and serve as the primary manager of the department's daily operations.

• Manage and provide input on employee relations, employment, training, and benefits activities.
• Support all departments through the development and implementation of effective HR procedures.
• Administer and communicate company policies, procedures, and programs.
• Review and advise management on performance, conduct issues, employee relations, and labor matters.
• Promote effective communication between employees and management.
• Coordinate training activities to meet the property's needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Three (3) years of HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HR concepts, policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
• Strong skills in MS Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
