• Own the onboarding and offboarding process.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, performance issues, attendance, and workplace concerns.
• Partner with managers on employee performance, coaching, and disciplinary matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, New York State, and NYC employment laws.
• Maintain HR policies, employee files, and required documentation.
• Track key HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, hiring, and attendance.

We are partnering with a start up in the restaurant industry seeking an HR Manager. This is a broad HR role responsible for payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted resource to both leadership and employees while helping build scalable HR processes as the company grows. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented HR professional who can work with leadership as well as frontline employees.

Compensation: $95,000-110,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
