Job summary

Distribution Management, headquartered in the Missouri Research Park in St. Charles, MO, is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee talent acquisition, benefits, payroll, leave management and compliance across its national distribution network.

The role emphasizes partnering with leadership to design strategic HR programs, ensure policy accuracy, and drive retention through development and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications preferred.
• 5–7 years Human Resources experience.
• Familiarity with CA state wage-hour laws; leave management; workers’ compensation regulations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reporting, payroll, leave management, workers’ compensation and unemployment claim management.
• Collaborate with teams to develop strategic plans for future programs and projects.
• Partner with the Director of Human Resources and the external benefits broker to identify an attractive benefit plan for all employees and candidates.
• Communicate and enforce organizational values; update policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
• Guide coaching and informed decision making; provide investigations and resolutions as needed.

Responsibilities Include:Oversee departmental functions, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, hiring and records management, compensation, benefits, leave management, training and career development, safety and health, employee relations and engagement, performance management, retention, and legal compliance.Devote focus time approximately 75% to distribution centers and 25% headquarters.Oversee departmental reporting, payroll, leave management, worker’s compensation and unemployment claim management.Collaborate with teams to develop strategic plans for future programs and projects.Partner with the Director of Human Resources and the outside benefits broker to strategically identify an attractive benefit plan offering for all employees and candidates.Communicate and enforce organizational values.
