Lead Recruiting & Operations Specialist at Suna Solutions

Schedule: Onsite Monday–Thursday | Remote Fridays

Are you a passionate HR leader looking to make a strategic impact in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment? We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager (Contractor) to join our team in Minnetonka, MN on a hybrid schedule for a 6-month assignment with competitive hourly pay.

About the Role:

As the HR Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for HR operations at our device manufacturing facility. You’ll partner closely with site leadership to drive key initiatives across talent management, employee relations, and compliance — all while championing a culture of inclusion and performance.

  • Lead day-to-day HR operations and implement site-specific talent strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, investigations, and workplace culture
  • Guide recruitment efforts, onboarding, and orientation
  • Ensure compliance with evolving employment laws and HR best practices
  • Collaborate on site-based learning, development, and retention initiatives
  • Deliver actionable insights through HR data and metrics
  • Provide HR presence onsite Monday–Thursday and support virtually on Fridays

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience (manufacturing/production experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Minnesota state and federal employment laws
  • Expertise in managing employee relations, performance consultations, and investigations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
