Job summary

Milton Keynes-based HR Manager role with a hands-on, office-based setup. You will own a broad HR function and collaborate with senior leadership to drive people strategies and improve processes.

The role covers employee relations, recruitment, performance, development, wellbeing, and policy reviews, with a focus on compliant, positive employee experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven HR management experience in a hands-on role.
• Experience with employee relations, recruitment, performance, and wellbeing.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, and performance matters.
• Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, processes, and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisals, and ongoing employee development.
• Work closely with senior leadership on workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, and business improvement initiatives.
• Support the effective management and compliance of company-wide operational responsibilities alongside the HR function.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and organisational effectiveness.
