Job summary

Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire, WI is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our people strategy and HR operations on-site. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• 2–3 years of broad human resources experience.

Job description

Metropolis Resort is seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead our people strategy, HR operations, recruiting, employee relations, and compliance efforts. This is an on-site, highly visible leadership position reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include developing and executing HR and workforce plans, leading recruitment, overseeing onboarding, advising department leaders, coaching managers, managing employee relations and workplace investigations, overseeing performance management, compensation practices, benefits administration, employee records, payroll processes, compliance, HR technology, workforce reporting, and development of the HR team.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational leadership, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience; at least two to three years of broad human resources experience; significant experience in employee relations, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and leadership advising; and strong communication, organization, judgement, and follow-through.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Compensation is based on experience.
