Job summary

Dizario Search is seeking an experienced HR leader for a manufacturing-focused role in Northeast Ohio. You will blend hands-on plant-floor leadership with strategic people programs to drive business results across a large workforce.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, strong coaching and ER skills, and a deep understanding of employment law, workforce planning, and safety collaboration with EHS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing
• Strong manufacturing background required
• Experience supporting large employee populations
• Hands-on, plant-floor leadership presence and impact
• Knowledge of employment law, FMLA, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business and operational goals
• Maintain a visible plant-floor presence and build strong relationships across the workforce
• Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, and leadership coaching
• Drive recruitment, retention, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and affirmative action requirements
• Partner with EHS on workplace safety and workers’ compensation matters
• Use workforce metrics to identify opportunities and improve organizational effectiveness
• Explore emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance HR processes and results

Relocation may be considered for candidates with established ties to Northeast Ohio.
