Specialized Recruiting Group, Charlotte is looking for a talented Human Resources Manager to join a growing team in the Charlotte area. The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives. This role supports a positive workplace culture, ensures legal compliance, and contributes to strategic planning in alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
· Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
· Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.
· Develop employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
Employee Relations
· Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
· Promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
· Conduct investigations and recommend disciplinary action when necessary.
Performance Management
· Lead performance appraisal processes and support leadership in goal-setting.
· Provide coaching and support to managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs).
· Identify employee development and training needs.
· Oversee payroll processes in coordination with the Finance team.
· Manage benefits administration including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
· Monitor compensation trends and recommend updates to pay structures.
Compliance & HR Policy
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
· Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and the employee handbook.
· Manage audits, workers’ compensation, and HR reporting requirements.
· Contribute to long-term HR strategies that support organizational growth.
· Lead HR initiatives such as DEI programs, employee engagement surveys, and wellness programs.
· Use HR metrics and analytics to improve processes and drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
· 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
· In-depth knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
