Job summary

Guided Search Partners is assisting an industry leader in the plastics packaging sector as they open a new site in Buffalo, NY. The HR leader will help launch the site, build the team, and shape HR systems and culture from day one.

The role requires an HR executive with manufacturing experience, a strong generalist background, and a focus on recruiting and onboarding to establish a high-performance workplace.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Human Resources preferred.
• 5+ years of HR leadership in manufacturing.
• Full generalist skillset and capable of functioning as a working manager.
• Strengths in recruiting and onboarding.
• Knowledge of Safety or experience functioning as a Safety Champion.
• Startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Launch the Buffalo site and establish HR processes.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard all employees for the new operation.
• Develop systems and culture aligned to the location's needs.
