Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, recruitment and safety in accordance with HR policies and governmental laws.
  • Develop, recommend and implement HR policies and programs in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage weekly time and attendance, payroll changes, and disciplinary actions.
  • Administer benefits including communication, enrollment and claims guidance to employees.
  • Prepare and complete surveys (annual compensation, benefits, etc.).
  • Participate in meetings and coordinate with manufacturing/production teams as needed.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information via HRIS and reporting tools.
  • Oversee termination processes, exit interviews and related documentation.
  • Maintain OSHA records and participate in safety committee activities; support safety program development.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through education and networking.

Job description

Description

Responsible for employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, recruitment and safety. Recommends and develops policies and implements approved programs and policies in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws and regulations.

Requirements
  • Recruitment activities for both exempt and non-exempt team member including advertising, screening, background checks, physical and drug screening. Interview and provide feedback to hiring manager.
  • New hire orientation including communication internally with team members, providing and obtaining necessary paperwork.
  • Responsible for weekly review of time and attendance, disciplinary action and payroll changes.
  • Responsible for benefits administration including communication of benefits and claim resolution. Provide guidance to team members on a secondary basis for team member questions regarding benefit eligibility and coverage. Meet with team members for benefit enrollment providing and obtaining necessary paperwork.
  • Prepare and complete various surveys including annual compensation, benefits, etc.
  • Participate in meetings as necessary. Attend daily Production meeting within the manufacturing organization. Respond to questions and resolve any issues within these meetings.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed and requested by managers via HRIS system.
  • Responsible for termination process for team members to include notification internally; exit interview and appropriate documentation necessary to terminate them from the internal and external systems.
  • Responsible for OSHA record keeping, a member of the safety committee and assist in the design and development and implementation of safety programs.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal and professional networks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years work experience in the Human Resource area.
