Hilton Anchorage is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR and payroll for 160+ team members. This role collaborates with the General Manager and department leaders to ensure compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence in a unionized hospitality setting.

With the property undergoing a renovation, the role offers a pivotal leadership position shaping culture and talent strategy during this transformative period.

Competenze

• 2-3 years of progressive HR experience (hospitality preferred).
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and labor relations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• HRIS and payroll system experience required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs for union and non-union employees, including annual open enrollment.
• Manage employee and labor relations, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
• Partner with union representatives to address grievances and maintain positive working relationships.
• Support performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate required OSHA and corporate training programs.
• Oversee biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of hours, gratuities, and documentation.

This role partners closely with the General Manager and department leaders to drive compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence in a unionized hospitality environment.

As our property completes a full renovation and positions itself as Alaska’s premier hotel destination, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping culture and talent strategy during a period of transformation.
