The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC seeks a Human Resources Liaison (HRL) to develop and manage personnel and HR functions, ensuring accurate position descriptions, analyzing budgets and staffing data, and serving as the HR systems SME to support operations and mission requirements.
Qualified applicants have GS-11/12 level experience with HR programs, staffing activities, and personnel actions, or an advanced degree as alternative.

You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience providing technical assistance and support to employees and management on human resources programs and processes; assisting with staffing and recruitment activities; coding and processing personnel actions; and reviewing position descriptions for accuracy and compliance.

You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience providing technical assistance and advisory support to employees and management on human resources programs and processes; assisting with staffing and recruitment activities; coding and processing personnel actions; reviewing position descriptions for accuracy and compliance; and interpreting and guiding management on human resources policies, procedures, and guidance.
