Job summary

Union Home Mortgage invites applications for its L.E.A.D Internship Program in Strongsville, OH. Interns will work 40 hours per week for three months, gain exposure to HR functions, and participate in mentoring, projects, and corporate outings.

The Human Resources Intern will support tasks across HR, including file management, payroll system updates, benefits, reporting, and audits, under supervision of senior leaders.

• Participate in audits of employee paperwork.

Our internship program gives students a chance to meet new people, gain more experience, and learn from the best in the business! Our interns are treated like full-time Partners who work 40 hours a week during the 3-month summer program, are compensated, and based out of headquarters in Strongsville, Ohio.

The Human Resources Intern will spend their time assisting in the management and administration of HR related tasks while receiving a comprehensive learning experience of the different areas within the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages new partner files including drug screening, background checks, orientation packets and other necessary paperwork
• Updates the HRIS (Paycom) web content
• Helps with the performance management system
• Assists with benefit administration
• Assists with quarterly reports
• Employee relation work including investigations and timecard upkeep
• Participation in frequent audits of employee paperwork
