Job summary

The Town of Apex is seeking a skilled HRIS Analyst to lead technical and professional HR functions related to HRMS/HRIS and talent management systems. You will implement, maintain, and troubleshoot systems while providing training to staff and generating actionable HR data reports.

Reporting to the Human Resources Assistant Director, the role carries broad scope with no supervisory duties, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations for the Town.

Qualifications

• Lead on the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HRMS/HRIS and talent management systems.
• Provide training on HR systems to new and existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports and analyze HR data for the Human Resources department and Town.
• Assist with system troubleshooting and ongoing optimization of HRIS processes.
• Report to the Human Resources Assistant Director and operate under broad direction.

Job description

Performs technical and professional level Human Resources functions by taking the lead on the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the technical aspects of the Town’s Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS/HRIS) and talent management systems (recruiting, onboarding, learning management, performance management, compensation, and succession planning systems). Provide training on the various systems to new and existing employees, develops reports, and analyzes Human Resources data for the Human Resources department and Town.

This position reports to the Human Resources Assistant Director. Requires general direction on work that is broad in scope.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
