Job summary

Schuylkill Center is seeking a full-time Human Resources Director to lead people operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic HR initiatives in a healthcare setting. This role requires a strong background in employment law, benefits administration, and staff development.

You will oversee performance management, training, compensation, safety programs, and employee relations while promoting our SHARE values and a culture of service and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of five years in HR administration, preferably in long-term care or hospital setting.
• Thorough knowledge of personnel laws and regulations in nursing facilities.
• Knowledge of employment law, wage and hour, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret HR programs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance management and improvement systems.
• Oversee organization development and training aligned with directives.
• Ensure employment compliance and regulatory concerns.
• Staffing, orientation, development, and training of employees.
• Implement policies and educate staff; oversee employee relations and engagement.

Schuylkill Center is currently looking for a full timeHuman Resources (HR) Director!

Requirements of theHuman Resources (HR) Director:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related
• Must have, as a minimum, five (5) year(s) experience in Human Resources Administration, preferably in a long-term care or hospital setting
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in nursing care facilities
• Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the Human Resources programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the Facility
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
