Please click here to learn more about our locations.CURRENT EMPLOYEES: Please log into Workday Click Here to apply internally through the \"Jobs Hub\"Job DescriptionThe HR Generalist supports the human resources function of the Shriners Children's Medical Group by providing guidance to managers and staff relating to applicable operating policies and procedures; recruitment, compensation, departmental consulting, training and development, benefit administration and employee relations.This position is on-site, based on Tampa, FL.Key Responsibilities:Partner with medical group leaders, practice managers, and department directors to provide guidance on workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.Coach leaders on employee performance concerns, corrective action, conflict resolution, attendance issues, and employee engagement strategies.Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions in collaboration with HR leadershipEnsure consistent application of organizational policies, employment practices, and regulatory requirements across physician practices and ambulatory care locations.Support leaders through organizational changes, workforce transitions, and change management initiatives.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, practice leadership, and operational leaders to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for clinical and non-clinical positions.Participate in candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding activities to support timely hiring and workforce stability.Monitor vacancy trends, turnover metrics, and recruitment outcomes, recommending solutions to address staffing challenges.Partner with hiring managers to build talent pipelines and support succession planning efforts.Provide guidance and support throughout the performance management cycle, including goal setting, evaluations, coaching, and development planning.Assist leaders in identifying learning and development opportunities that enhance employee performance and support organizational goals.Coordinate employee orientation, onboarding, recognition, and engagement initiatives.Support career development and workforce planning efforts to strengthen internal talent mobility and retention.Partner with Compensation to conduct job evaluations, market analyses, and salary recommendations.Review workforce data, turnover trends, vacancy reports, and organizational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.Assist leaders in developing staffing models and workforce plans that align with operational and financial objectives.Support pay practices that promote internal equity, market competitiveness, and alignment with organizational compensation philosophy.Serve as a resource to employees and leaders regarding benefits, leave programs, retirement plans, and HR policies.Support annual benefits enrollment, employee leave administration, and related HR programs.Ensure employee records, job descriptions, and HR data are maintained accurately and in compliance with organizational standards.Assist with implementation and optimization of HR processes, systems, and programs.Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation requirements.Partner with operational leaders to maintain workforce compliance related to licensure, certifications, mandatory education, and credentialing requirements.Assist with audits, accreditation reviews, and regulatory surveys, ensuring HR-related documentation and processes meet applicable standards.Monitor and communicate changes in employment laws and healthcare workforce regulations that may impact operations.Coordinate employee recognition programs, engagement activities, and wellness initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.Support employee feedback processes, including engagement surveys and action planning efforts.Partner with leaders to improve employee retention, workforce satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness.Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and patient-centered work environment aligned with the organization's mission and values.Required Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Related Field3+ years of HR Generalist/Recruitment experiencePreferred Qualifications:PHR/SPHR CertificationCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
