Role Description The Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including administering employee benefits, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will help maintain accurate employee records, support compliance with labor and employment regulations, and respond to HR-related inquiries from team members and managers. The position involves collaborating with leadership on employee relations matters, supporting performance management processes, and contributing to HR projects and initiatives. Bilingual communication skills are used regularly to ensure clear and inclusive support for a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in core Human Resources (HR) functions, including employee relations, recruitment support, and HR administration.


• Proficiency in HR Management practices such as performance management support, workforce planning assistance, and HR reporting.


• Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance, including employment law basics, disciplinary procedures, and policy implementation.


• Understanding of Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and coordination with benefits providers.


• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Spanish or another relevant language) with strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chicago Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Prior HR experience in a manufacturing or food industry environment is a plus.
