Job summary

Current Electric is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to oversee day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and employee relations. The role partners with leadership to align HR activities with business goals and values, driving a positive culture and compliant processes.

You will manage HRIS data, support talent development, and contribute to workforce engagement within a fast-paced electrical services environment.

• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Recruiting and onboarding coordination support; sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new employees.
• Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, resolving workplace conflicts, facilitating performance reviews and corrective action processes.
• Benefits & Payroll Support: Assisting employees with benefit enrollments, leave requests, and payroll inquiries.
• Culture & Engagement: Driving employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, workplace recognition programs and support continued education training initiatives.

The Big Tasks of a Human Resource Generalist

Rather than specializing in a single area—such as compensation, benefits, or recruiting—an HR Generalist handles a wide spectrum of duties, including:

• HR Administration & Compliance: Maintaining personnel records, enforcing workplace policies, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and safety regulations
