  • Manage ADP data entry, HRIS tasks, and reports such as headcount and LOA management.
  • Support talent acquisition and recruitment processes and track performance appraisals.

Job description

Human Resources Generalist to support our manufacturing operations and workforce. This role will report to the Sr. HR Manager for Norcross Plant. We are seeking a knowledgeable candidate to work with plant leadership and employees by providing HR support across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, benefits administration, compliance, and workforce planning. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be committed to fostering a positive, safe, and productive workplace.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or business administration or relevant field
  • Must possess a PHR
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Five plus years of recent experience as the top human resources management professional at a manufacturing facility of 200 or more employees.
  • A demonstrable track record of proactive employee relations.
  • Technical competence in all traditional HR functions, including compensation and benefits; employment and staffing; management and organizational development; employee relations and labor law.
  • Successful experience dealing with people from non- U.S. culture.
  • A high degree of comfort dealing with all levels of the organization, from the manufacturing
  • floor to the executive offices.

  • Experience diffusing employee issues and leading investigations.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Recruiting status reports for management.
  • Responsible for data management in ADP systems for hourly employees.
  • Assist with system data entry necessary for processing employee time records, new hires, pay changes, promotions, transfers, FMLA, LOAs, and terminations.
  • Responsible for reports including headcount, overtime, safety, and LOA management.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Track performance appraisals and reconciling associated records.
  • Gather and analyze data with HR metrics for daily and monthly review.
  • Assist employee relations and investigations.
  • Manage employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Conduct HR projects as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while effectively and accurately managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to develop and make presentations on behalf of the organization.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in recruiting; of applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Proven solving abilities and results driven.
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated applied skills in data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain flexible in the face of changing and multiple priorities.
  • Must be personable and approachable.
  • Excellent organizational and listening skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage confidential, complex issues to successful resolution.
  • Experience with an HRIS database (ADP & Vantage Preferred).
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures.
  • Experience working with Benefits portals, safety portals, maintenance portals and requisition portals.
