Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States seeks an HR Generalist to support full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and training programs across our manufacturing plants. You will coordinate interviews, manage employee documentation, and assist on compliance initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

The role requires a bachelor’s in HR or related field and 2 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing; strong communication and integrity are essential.

Position Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, with a focus on attracting candidates in rural and hard-to-fill markets.
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth start for all employees.
• Assist in developing and maintaining training documentation and support the rollout of plant training programs.
• Support employee relations by responding to employee questions and helping resolve day-to-day issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of employee documentation, including new hire paperwork, status changes, and personnel files.
• Partner with the Plant HR Manager on HR initiatives with compliance efforts.
• Help implement HR programs that support a growing workforce and positive workplace culture.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
