Job summary

TT Electronics plc is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support policy administration, payroll, benefits, onboarding and compliance in a manufacturing setting.

You will handle full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, HRIS data entry, benefits education, and regulatory adherence while partnering with leadership to enhance engagement and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience in HR.
  • 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Self-starter ability to work independently with minimal resources and accomplish tangible goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills within all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; project management a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between management and employees, administer policies, and resolve work-related concerns.
  • Review, record, and verify time and attendance and payroll adjustments.
  • Enter payroll and employee data into HRIS; support benefits and enrollment processes.
  • Provide benefits education and support to employees; assist with annual Open Enrollment.
  • Administer FMLA, LOA, ADA, and workers’ compensation programs and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws and government reporting requirements; ensure compliance.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for direct labor and assist indirect labor recruitment.
  • Generate affirmative action data reports and inform recruiting actions.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster engagement with company goals.
  • Pull reports and KPI data for monthly review; conduct internal investigations as needed.
  • Support HR training programs and culture-building initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to address workforce needs and implement improvements.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job description

Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist supports the Director through policy administration relating to all phases of human resources activity. This position carries out job duties in the following functional areas: payroll, employee record maintenance, reporting training, employee relations, benefits administration (medical & disability programs, performance management, onboarding and new hire orientation, employment law compliance and employee relationships).

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison and consultant between management and employees by fielding and answering questions, administering policies, and resolving common work‑related concerns.
  • Completely reviews, records, and/or verifies time and attendance and other payroll adjustments.
  • Performs data entry into HRIS for all payroll and employee related changes.
  • Provides benefit education and support to employees. Assists with management of the Annual Open Enrollment Process.
  • Responsible for all employee FMLA, LOA, ADA and workers’ compensation administration and compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures all policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Manages full‑cycle recruiting process for direct labor and assists as needed for indirect labor recruitment including screening candidates, phone interviews, in‑person interviews, assessments, drug screening, background checks, offer letters and onboarding.
  • Provides affirmative action data reports and utilizes results to drive recruiting action plans.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards company goals and increase employee engagement.
  • Pulls reports and monthly KPI data as required.
  • Conducts internal investigations and exit interviews as needed.
  • Serves as a company culture champion. Creates, performs or coordinates any HR‑related employee training.
  • Formulates partnerships to work effectively with leadership, managers, and employees.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Safety Responsibilities

Safety is a core responsibility of this position. Team members are expected to perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established procedures. Location

100 % onsite in Greater Cleveland, Ohio.

This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply.
