Job summary

CFE International LLC is seeking an accomplished Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders across the lifecycle. You will help deliver compliant HR services, manage onboarding, recruit, handle employee relations, and administer benefits in a hands-on, relationship-focused role.

You will partner with managers to address concerns, drive engagement, and support development, training, and performance processes while maintaining accurate HR data and system improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or related role.
  • Experience across multiple HR disciplines: employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compliance, or HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR systems; strong MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job description

The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting employees while helping strengthen CFE International's people practices. Working closely with the HR Manager, employees, and business leaders, this role serves as a trusted resource across the employee lifecycle, helping deliver a positive, consistent, and compliant employee experience. The HR Generalist supports recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, compliance, HR systems, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building relationships and helping people navigate workplace needs while building practical HR processes that create long-term organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, programs, and workplace matters.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Deliver a positive candidate and employee experience through responsive, professional, and customer-focused HR service.
  • Partner with managers to address employee concerns, promote engagement, and support a respectful and productive work environment.
  • Support employee development initiatives, including training, career growth, talent planning, and performance management processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, job documentation, and HR data to support informed business decisions and organizational effectiveness.
  • Administer and improve HR systems, reporting, vendor coordination, and other operational processes that enhance service delivery.
  • Support compliance with employment laws, company policies, training requirements, records retention, and data privacy standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and continuously improve HR processes and programs.
  • Contribute to HR and Administration initiatives and special projects that support organizational growth and the employee experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, HRBP, or related role.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compliance, or HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR systems, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive employee, compensation, organizational, and business information with exceptional discretion, sound judgment, professionalism, and unwavering confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders while navigating sensitive workplace matters with tact, diplomacy, and integrity.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other relevant HR certification.
  • Experience supporting a growing multi-national organization, including organizational development, change management, process improvement, or HR transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in energy trading, commodities, infrastructure, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, system enhancements, reporting, analytics, or workforce data management.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
