Job summary

  • Hands-on experience with networks, firewalls, endpoint and identity security, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Independently maintain and support the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, firewall, and internet services.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable and secure business operations.
  • Administer cybersecurity tools and controls, including endpoint protection, identity security, threat detection, and security monitoring solutions.
  • Investigate security alerts, technology incidents, and system vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation and escalation as needed.
  • Implement and maintain secure configurations, access controls, and security best practices across technology environments.
  • Support business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery activities to strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system inventories, procedures, standards, and operational records.
  • Support compliance, audit, governance, and risk management initiatives by providing technical evidence, reporting, and corrective action support.
  • Participate in infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and technology projects, including upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

Job description

The Network and Cybersecurity Analyst is a key contributor to the secure, reliable, and resilient technology environment that supports CFE International’s business operations. This role strengthens the organization by protecting critical systems, reducing cybersecurity risk, improving network performance, and enabling timely response to incidents and technology needs. Through strong technical ownership, practical risk judgment, and clear documentation, the position helps safeguard business continuity, support governance expectations, and advance a more secure and efficient operating model.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Three to five years of experience in network engineering, security operations, systems administration, or a related technical role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with networks, firewalls, endpoint and identity security, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security, Windows and cloud security, ticketing, documentation, change control, and frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, prioritization, and communication skills; able to explain technical issues clearly to nontechnical users.
  • High integrity, discretion, service orientation, sound judgment, and commitment to protecting confidential information.
  • Proficiency in English
Preferred
  • Relevant certification, such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or CySA+, Microsoft Security, or equivalent network/cybersecurity credential.
  • Experience in regulated, high-availability environments with cybersecurity, compliance, or records-retention requirements.
  • Experience delivering infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, migrations, continuity exercises, control testing, or audit remediation.
  • Hands-on experience with security, monitoring, backup, cloud security, scripting, and Microsoft security tools.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, preparing management reports, and supporting purchasing or invoice documentation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish
