Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across North America. The role focuses on onboarding, learning, hiring, employee relations, and benefits administration as part of a broader employer of choice strategy.

The ideal candidate has several years of HR experience, strong employment-law knowledge, and excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

A day in the life. As our Human Resources Generalist, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The HR Generalist is a key contributor in areas of employee onboarding and learning, hiring, employee relations, and benefits administration, with a continued focus on being an employer of choice.

Our future colleague

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• High school diploma required


• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred


• Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, experience working in a fast paced, professional team environment preferred


• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations


• Demonstrated experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills


• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
