Tuff Shed’s National Support Center in the South Denver area seeks an HR Generalist to administer HR functions including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, leave tracking, and records management. You will support onboarding, ESOP/401(k) audits, and HR reporting.
Must be able to work in-office with strong communication and confidentiality skills. Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred, with multi-state employment law knowledge and HRIS proficiency.
This position is located at the National Support Center (NSC) in the South Denver Metro Area (I-25 & Colorado Blvd).
This Human Resources Generalist serves as administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, Learning & Development, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures law and regulatory compliance. Provides internal support and partnership to business lines. May evaluate, select, and oversee vendors. Coordinates with HR support staff to process and maintain employment and other records.
1-3 years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferred
Demonstrated experience in areas of employee relations, benefits, and recruitment, preferred
Knowledge of multi-state federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices
Broad knowledge of HR industry practices
Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS systems
Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet applications required
Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with employees at all levels, responding to employee questions and concerns
Ability to exercise discretion, diplomacy, good judgment and respect for confidentiality
Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgment
Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff Shed
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and the public
Ability to work scheduled in-office hours is required to:
High school diploma OR equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources preferred
HR Certification preferred
Indoor office setting
100% in-office; may travel occasionally
May be required to work overtime (including some weekend work) to fulfil the requirements of the role; in addition, s/he must work scheduled on-location hours as scheduled and must be present in the office, as scheduled, and work all required hours
