Job summary

Tuff Shed is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support sales and Production teams at the Franklin Park store. You will manage scheduling with customers, installers, and management, and handle orders, warranties, and invoicing.

The role requires strong computer skills, CRM experience, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment. You will work with Home Depot channels, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure accurate paperwork and payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, coordination or project management.
• Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to solve problems using sound logic and business judgment.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Must read, write and understand instructions and communicate professionally.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

We're recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to provide support to the sales and Production teams at our Tuff Shed Factory Store.

Customer Experience/Scheduling

• Contact customer upon receipt of order and initiate communication with customer to begin scheduling process; resolve customer complaints.
• Manage warranty issues; schedule warranties efficiently.
• Use knowledge of Tuff Shed’s product offerings and accessoriestoprovide assistance tocustomers and make suggested enhancements to their order that correlatewith their needs such as upgraded flooring, windows, etc.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure understanding of completed forms
• Coordinate appointments with customers
• Work directly with customers, store management, and Certified Installers to schedule installations
• Ensure scheduling is efficient and cost effective for both Tuff Shed and the Certified Installers
• Maintain a working knowledge ofsub-contractorsskill sets and capacity tomaximize daily schedule for buildefficiency

Document Preparation & Reporting

• Prepare store checks for vendor expenses; Weekly processing of payment.
• Ensure all paperwork is signed and documented appropriately

Production/Finance

• PrepareInstaller Dispatchesforsub-contractors -verify orders, assign product serial number, create Installer purchase orders, assign Installer rates (and anyadditionaladjustments)
• Reconcile Home Depotpurchaseorders with Tuff Shed Salesorders to assure accuracy
• ManageA/R for the store for both Retail and Home Depotchannels
• Monitor Home Depot purchaseorders – reconcile, update and close toensureaccuratepaymenton HD Connect software
• Database maintenance and management

Liaison with Home Depot

• Act as first contact on HomeDepotqueries from sales team members and Customers on status ofcustomerorders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Successfulprior experience working in logistics, coordination, project management,or in a similar capacity, preferred.
• Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet applicationsrequired; experience inutilizing Customer Relations Management (CRM) software – including JDEdwards, Salesforce or similar systems is highly preferred
• Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgment
• Ability to use arithmetic, mathematical,accountingand financial tools as they apply to Tuff Shed business
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, meetingtight deadlines on multiple projects
• Ability to take on a role with a steep learning curve. You'll be expected to know the details about our products and discuss offers and options with our partners and customers
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form
• Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff Shed
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and thegeneral public
• Must possess a current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report

EDUCATION:
