  • Build trusted relationships with managers and employees across the organization
  • Support employee investigations, performance improvement plans, and workforce planning
  • Provide thoughtful, practical HR guidance while knowing when to escape more complex matters
  • Help managers navigate employee issues while balancing employee experience, business needs, and company policies
Talent Management, HR Operations & Compliance
  • Lead new-hire onboarding, orientation, and employee check-ins
  • Support performance review processes, goal-setting, and talent reviews
  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure Workday/HRIS data integrity
  • Respond to employee questions related to benefits, immigration, HR policies, and programs
  • Conduct compensation and HR data analysis and prepare reports as requested
  • Help ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California requirements
  • Support HR audits while maintaining appropriate confidentiality
  • Contribute to regional and global HR programs, including annual merit cycles, U.S. benefits open enrollment, policy updates, and process improvements
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Coordinate wellness, corporate social responsibility, and local Carlsbad office events
  • Support communication and implementation of HR programs and initiatives
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to help create an engaging employee experience
  • Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture
What You Bring

  • 4–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience supporting the full employee lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of California employment law
  • Strong employee relations and manager coaching experience
  • Experience supporting performance management and employee programs
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build trusted relationships with employees and managers
  • Excellent judgment, problem‑solving skills, and ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, communication/collaboration tools, and HRIS platforms
Bonus Points If You Have
  • Previous HR experience within a technology company
  • Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS platform
  • Experience with compensation and HR data analysis
  • Benefits administration experience
  • Strong hands‑on employee relations experience
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification

  • Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration/document‑management platforms
What Will Make You Successful

We’re looking for someone who combines strong HR fundamentals with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑moving environment.

You’ll be especially successful if you are:
  • Resourceful – You take initiative, look for solutions, and know when to pull in additional expertise.
  • Curious – You ask thoughtful questions and want to understand both the employee and business perspective.
  • Proactive – You anticipate needs and take ownership rather than waiting for every next step.
  • Relationship‑oriented – You build credibility with managers, employees, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Adaptable – You can manage shifting priorities while staying organized and responsive.
  • Calm and approachable – Employees and managers feel comfortable coming to you for guidance.
  • Accountable – You follow through on commitments and take ownership of the employee experience.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves – You can move seamlessly between advising a manager, solving an employee issue, analyzing HR data, and handling the operational details required to get something done.
Why You’ll Love This Opportunity

This is an opportunity to gain meaningful experience with a leading technology company while working closely with an experienced HR leadership team.
