Job summary

GOBHI in Bend, Oregon is seeking an experienced recruitment professional to support behavioral health and CMHP networks. You will post jobs, source candidates, screen applications, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, behavioral health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Experience recruiting for behavioral health, social services, and CMHP roles.
• Strong customer service and ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
• Proficiency with Paylocity Recruiting or similar ATS.

Job description

• Support Human Resources and GOBHI’s Community Mental Health Program network with recruitment and targeted sourcing for behavioral health professionals
• Lead recruitment operations using Paylocity Recruiting, Bhcareers.org, and related systems
• Post jobs, source candidates, screen applications and resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, background checks, and pre-employment screening
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical and behavioral health positions
• Support recruitment marketing initiatives to attract diverse and qualified applicants
• Provide clear communication, timely follow-up, and a positive candidate experience
• Serve as the primary recruitment contact for hiring managers within GOBHI and its CMHP network
• Understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, advise on recruitment strategy, and support hiring managers with Paylocity recruiting tools and processes
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate metrics and reports on time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate engagement, and hiring manager satisfaction
• Recommend process improvements, automation, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with GOBHI policy, CMHP standards, EEOC, ADA, and Oregon labor laws
• Promote equitable and inclusive hiring practices
• Schedule interviews, assessment sessions, and site visits; coordinate candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain and update the job description library
• Represent GOBHI at virtual and in-person recruitment events and community workforce initiatives
• Drive to meetings or other GOBHI locations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Behavioral Health or related field, or equivalent experience
• Three years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in behavioral health
• Experience recruiting for behavioral health, social services, and community mental health roles
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with candidates and clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, time management, and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Objective, solution-focused problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in DEI-focused hiring practices and inclusive recruitment strategies
• Proficiency with MS software and Google Suites
• Experience using Paylocity Recruitment or a comparable ATS
• Familiarity with job boards and sourcing platforms, including Bhcareers.org or behavioral health/clinical-oriented boards
• Resilient, positive, and solution-focused approach
• Good driving record and required vehicle insurance
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
• Ability to travel occasionally to recruitment events or site visits
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
