Human Resources & Employee Housing Coordinator
Position Summary
The HR & Employee Housing Coordinator provides day-to-day support for Human Resources while coordinating all aspects of employee housing. This position plays an important role in creating a smooth employee experience, from onboarding and arrival through housing assignments and eventual departure.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Coordinate the employee onboarding process from offer through start date.
- Prepare and send employment-related documents.
- Initiate, track, and follow up on background checks.
- Coordinate new-hire paperwork, onboarding, and orientation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
- Assist with I-9 documentation and other required employment paperwork.
- Support employment verifications and other employee requests.
- Assist the HR team with administrative tasks, projects, and other HR needs as they arise.
Employee Housing
- Coordinate all employee housing arrivals and departures.
- Manage room assignments, check-ins, check-outs, and key distribution.
- Maintain accurate housing rosters and occupancy records.
- Track housing inventory, including furniture, supplies, keys, and other assigned items.
- Conduct biweekly housing inspections and document findings and required follow-up.
- Submit and track maintenance tickets and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Communicate housing expectations, policies, and procedures to employees.
- Assist with housing-related concerns and elevate issues when appropriate.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and other partners as needed.
- Help ensure employee housing remains clean, safe, organized, and properly maintained.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Human Resources, employee housing, hospitality, or an administrative/coordination role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning HR and housing management systems.
- Flexible and willing to assist with additional HR and housing responsibilities as business needs arise.
- Flexible scheduling is required, with the ability to work before or after standard office hours, as well as weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
- Valid Driver's License as driving is required.
