Job summary

Lakeland Joint School District No. 272 is seeking applications for a Human Resources Director for the 2026–2027 school year.

The pay is no less than $91,770 annually and a full benefits package including PERSI retirement, medical, dental, and sick leave. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in education, personnel, or a related field with at least five years of HR experience; SHRM-P or PHR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, personnel, or relevant field; at least five years of HR experience or equivalent combination.
• Preference given to SHRM-P, PHR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all district HR operations for the 2026–2027 school year.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with district goals.
• Partner with administrators to support staffing, compensation, and benefits.
