Job summary

PulteGroup, headquartered in Englewood, CO, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the HR team and employees. The role includes payroll processing, LOA coordination, audits, recruitment and onboarding, and responding to HR policy questions.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, HR in our Englewood, CO office, the HR Coordinator will have responsibilities supporting the employees of Pulte Financial Services. They will provide administrative support for the HR team, and also partner with Corporate HR Specialists to provide support to managers and employees in regard to policy, payroll, and benefits issues.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Payroll – Submit biweekly payroll reports for processing, audit payroll results and submit corrections, process paperwork for new hires (I9s) & terminations, job changes, department changes/allocations, salary changes, etc., process timecard adjustments, and serve as a liaison between employees/managers and corporate payroll team.
  • LOA – serve as the primary local leave of absence liaison (FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, etc.) counsel employees on options, track and report on LOAs, work with 3rd party leave administrator to facilitate all leaves and returns.
  • Audits & Reporting – respond to state and federal audit requests and generate and distribute weekly, monthly and ad-hoc HR reports.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding – serve as a resource for recruiters to assist with job postings, sourcing, job fairs, scheduling, background checks and onboarding; facilitate benefits presentation at new hire orientation.
  • General – compile metrics and generate reports on key HR indicators, review exit interview data, respond to unemployment claims, complete verifications of employment (VOEs), provide additional support during key HR initiatives and projects, answer routine questions regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies/procedures.

Required Education
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred.
  • aPHR or PHR Certification preferred.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources-related role and a continued education related to HR topics.
  • Demonstrated evidence of integrity and experience managing confidential data.
  • Knowledge of Workday preferred.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Payroll and HR processes and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required with intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow up skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information clearly.
Pay Range

$26.44 - $31.25 per hour. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on successful completion of defined performance objectives.
