About The Role
Our client, a Minnesota-based staffing and workforce solutions organization, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a positive employee and candidate experience.
The Human Resources Coordinator will partner with internal teams to support talent acquisition efforts, facilitate onboarding activities, coordinate employee programs and events, and assist with a variety of HR and office administration functions. This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across multiple areas of human resources while helping create an engaging and efficient workplace.
Job Description
In this role, you will serve as a key resource supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and office operations. You will partner with internal teams to help ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience, maintain organized HR processes, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Recruiting Support
- Create and post job openings across company platforms and external job boards.
- Source qualified candidates using recruiting databases, online tools, and social media platforms.
- Review resumes and assist with candidate pipeline management.
- Maintain recruiting records, documentation, and HRIS data.
Onboarding & New Hire Administration
- Coordinate onboarding activities and orientation schedules for new employees.
- Assist with new hire system setup and onboarding logistics.
- Ensure completion of all onboarding documentation, compliance requirements, and assigned training.
- Serve as a backup resource for new hire and benefits orientations.
- Provide support to new employees throughout the onboarding process.
Human Resources Administration
- Assist with Minnesota Paid Leave processes and related recordkeeping.
- Coordinate corporate training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, travel arrangements, and event logistics.
- Support employee training initiatives, eLearning programs, and engagement activities.
- Administer employee recognition and milestone programs.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team.
Office Administration
- Assist with general office operations and administrative activities.
- Coordinate meetings, conference rooms, and office logistics.
- Support workplace events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with facility-related administrative tasks and vendor coordination.
- Manage office supply and refreshment orders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an office administration, customer service, human resources, recruiting, or related support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, or human resources functions.
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Familiarity with employee training coordination and administrative support processes.
- Experience supporting employee engagement, recognition, or workplace event initiatives.
- Associate's degree or additional coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
