Job description

What You Get To Do
  1. Provide support to the Human Resources department, involving direct contact with Leaders and Ambassadors.
  2. Promote a positive culture across all departments.
  3. Assist and support Ambassador Events and coordinate the Ambassador Recognition Program.
  4. Manage Ambassador Communications and Service Award Program/Events.
  5. Support Animal Awareness Events and maintain related calendars.
  6. Assist with Trade Agreements, Intake Processes, and maintain Recognition Spreadsheets.
  7. Support programs related to culture, morale, and engagement of Ambassadors.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.
  9. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting.
  10. Assist with other duties as assigned.
What It Takes To Succeed
  1. Knowledge of human resources functions and employment cycle tasks.
  2. Understanding of or willingness to learn California employment laws.
  3. Experience in a fast-paced Human Resources environment.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Strong computer, presentation, and communication skills.
  6. Comfort working indoors and ability to sit/stand for extended periods.
  7. Ability to adapt to change, handle stressful situations, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  9. Comfort with computer screens and operating office equipment.
  10. Associate’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
What Else Is Important
  1. Minimum of 2+ years of HR experience preferred.
  2. Experience in theme parks or hospitality industry preferred.
  3. Knowledge of HRIS systems like Workday.
  4. Experience in high-growth, fast-paced companies.
Compensation

18 USD hourly
