Job description

Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City, is looking to welcome a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team!

Our hotel, featuring 269 guest rooms, is located less than two miles from Reagan National Airport. The Pentagon Metro station is within two blocks, and the Pentagon is less than a mile away. Our 2+ team members report to the Complex Director of Human Resources.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of hospitality experience, a passion for a career in Human Resources, and strong administrative skills. Prior HR experience is a plus!

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (9AM-5:30PM)

Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

Providing administrative and clerical support to Human Resources, including word processing, filing, data entry, correspondence, and travel arrangements.

  • Greeting and assisting employees, managers, and candidates, providing accurate information, and responding to inquiries.
  • Supporting onboarding and orientation of new team members.
  • Assisting in planning and executing HR programs and initiatives, coordinating meetings, and creating materials.
  • Coordinating training sessions, new hire orientations, and tracking participation and feedback.
  • Answering questions, providing forms, and referring complex issues to the HR Director.
  • Maintaining employee files, monitoring time records, and acting as backup payroll processor.
