Job description

Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City is looking to welcome a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team!

Our hotel, featuring 269 guest rooms, is located less than two miles from Reagan National Airport. The Pentagon Metro station is within two blocks, and the Pentagon is less than a mile away. Our team reports to the Complex Director of Human Resources.

Ideal Candidate: Holds 1+ years in hospitality, passionate about a career in Human Resources, with strong administrative skills. Prior HR experience is a plus!

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (9AM-5:30PM)

Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

What will I be doing? Providing administrative support to Human Resources managers, including word processing, filing, data entry, answering phones, making travel arrangements, and general office duties.

  • Greeting and assisting employees, managers, and candidates, providing accurate information, and responding to inquiries.
  • Supporting onboarding and orientation of new team members.
  • Assisting in planning and executing HR programs and initiatives, coordinating meetings, creating materials, and supporting project timelines.
  • Coordinating training sessions, new hire orientations, and tracking participation and feedback.
  • Answering questions, providing forms or directions, and referring complex issues to the HR Director.
  • Maintaining employee files, assisting with time records, and acting as backup payroll processor.
