E&K of Omaha is seeking an HR Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the HR department through various tasks. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, benefits and travel assistance, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  1. Consult with leaders to identify employment needs, post jobs, and participate in career fairs.
  2. Support community outreach and establish networks with colleges and universities.
  3. Screen and interview applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education.
  4. Hire or refer qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  5. Inform applicants about job details, benefits, and duties.
  6. Conduct reference checks and background verifications, including E-Verify.
  7. Coordinate drug/alcohol testing for new hires and safety compliance.
  8. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  9. Conduct new hire orientations.
  10. Organize meetings such as open enrollment and policy updates.
  11. Assist with other HR duties as needed.
  12. Maintain employment records and paperwork.
  13. Support the analysis of laws and regulations to ensure compliance and update policies.
  14. Participate in training programs, committees, and projects.
  15. Adhere to company policies and demonstrate core competencies.
  16. Uphold the company's Mission, Purpose & Values.
Qualifications:
  1. Proficiency in Spanish, both verbal and written.
  2. Experience in HR, especially recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policy administration, is preferred.
  3. Strong communication skills to effectively share information and address employee concerns.
  4. Decision-making skills for evaluating candidates and resolving disputes.
  5. Attention to detail to ensure legal compliance and accurate record-keeping.
  6. Interpersonal skills to connect with diverse employees.
  7. Proficiency in Windows applications, including Microsoft Office.
