Insight Global is partnering with a growing organization to hire an HR Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations. This individual will assist across the entire employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee relations support, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent service to employees while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will support recruiting initiatives, coordinate onboarding activities, maintain employee records, assist with benefits and leave administration, and serve as a resource for employee HR-related questions. You will work closely with Human Resources leadership to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration
- Knowledge of leave administration, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee leave programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally
Responsibilities
- Assist with benefits administration, including employee health and welfare programs and 401(k) plans
- Support leave administration for FMLA, CFRA, PDL, workers' compensation, and related programs
- Coordinate recruiting activities, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and onboarding processes
- Respond to employee HR inquiries and provide high-quality customer service
- Conduct background checks and employment verification processes
- Assist with performance review administration and employee separation processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
- Schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related events
- Prepare HR documentation, correspondence, and employee files
- Support administrative HR functions including filing, scanning, record maintenance, and document management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
- Previous experience supporting construction, facilities, maintenance, or field service organizations
- Knowledge of California and Texas employment laws
- Experience supporting employees across multiple locations
- HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent
- Experience with benefits enrollment and compliance reporting
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
