The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with a strong emphasis on encouraging a positive people experience. This role supports core HR functions with a strong focus on culture, engagement, and the day-to-day people experience. By supporting thoughtful, people-centered HR operations, the HR Coordinator helps ensure that both people and processes are aligned with the company’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Coordinate aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Represent the firm at job fairs, campus events, and industry recruitment opportunities to support talent pipeline growth
- Partner with hiring managers to maintain job descriptions and ensure a consistent, values-aligned interview experience
- Prepare and extend offer letters under guidance and ensure pre-boarding logistics, new hire documentation, and systems access are completed accurately
- Manage pre-boarding logistics and coordinate new hire documentation and systems access
Employee Relations & Performance
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support managers and employees by escalating complex employee relations issues
- Assist with performance management activities, such as tracking performance review completion and supporting documentation
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and assist in implementing best practices
- Contribute to the planning and communication of HR initiatives, such as policy updates, organizational changes, and employee programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation and communication of HR programs and initiatives
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization and interact with external parties
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, empathy, and professionalism
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities with a thoughtful, people-focused approach
- Creative, proactive, problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow
- Comfortable using technology to support HR processes; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, preferably in a coordinator or recruiting support role
- Experience assisting with or supporting full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Exposure to employee relations, performance management, and HR operations support
